On April 6, Vice Mayor Jeong Lak Hyeong of Busan, South Korea, and his party visited Shanghai. During his visit, Mr. Cai Wei, Vice Chairman of CPPCC Shanghai Committee, met with Vice Mayor Jeong Lak Hyeong and his party at the VIP hall of the committee. Both sides reviewed the history of friendly exchanges between the two cities and exchanged views on cooperation in areas including the further opening up of cruise ships between Shanghai and Busan. The foreign delegation expressed the wish that they would send delegations to visit Shanghai and participate in relevant events during the Expo 2010 Shanghai China. Vice Chairman Cai Wei extended a welcome to the delegation and expressed his thanks to Busan for its support for the Shanghai Expo. Mr. Wang Xiaoshu, Executive Vice President of the Municipal People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Mr. Ding Huanhuan, Fulltime Deputy Director of Foreign Friendship Committee of CPPCC Shanghai Committee, and Mr. Ding Yikuang, Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai Huaxia Culture and Economy Promotion Association, were also present at the meeting.
