The Press and Cultural Affairs Division of the Shanghai Municipal Foreign Affairs Office will handle the annual renewal of resident foreign journalist card from November 14, 2005 to December 23, 2005. All resident foreign journalists in Shanghai are required to bring their journalist cards and a letter issued by the employer confirming that the journalist will be employed as the resident foreign journalist in Shanghai for the year 2006. The resident foreign journalist shall come to our office with the requested documents in person. The renewal process will take about 10 business days.
