glad to inform you that the International Press Center (IPC) will organize a
reporting trip to Harbin, Heilongjiang Province to cover the Ice and Snow
Festival for foreign correspondents in China from Wednesday, January 4th, 2006
to Saturday, January 7th, 2006.
China
Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival is one of the four Ice and Snow
Festivals in the world, which has been successfully held for 21 years with tens
of thousands of visitors from both home and abroad. The 22nd China Harbin
International Ice and Snow Festival will begin on January 5th, 2006.
The
Festival this year will hold a series of events including the Opening Ceremony,
Trade Fair, Winter Swimming, and Skiing. The correspondents will also be invited
to visit Hafei Group (Harbin Aircraft Industry Group), Harbin Sanchine
Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd and Harbin Brewery Group. The draft program is as
